Each SuperNet domain has a separate dedicated hard drive, Network Interface Card (NIC), operating system, and each boot independently. No two domains are ever active concurrently; therefore, no user can access classified networks while on a SuperNet workstation unless authorized to do so. The SuperNet also incorporates locking removable classified hard drives which can easily be removed and secured in a safe location when not in use. The Supernet will function normally when the secure drives are removed, but will only provide access to the unclassified domain.
